Rabbi Elbaz's Fourth Grade Newsletter/ Sept. 14th

We had a busy and exciting week in Kita Daled. In Chumash we practiced our Rashi reading and learned a few Rashi’s. We completed our study of Hashem’s promise to Yaakov and are near finishing perek 28. Next week we will work on our Tal Am workbooks in conjunction with reading from the Chumash and continuing our work on Rashi’s.

In Navi this week we completed perek aleph in Sefer Yehoshua where we stressed the four promises of Hashem to Yehoshua. We will continue to learn about the miracles and mitzvoth of Bnei Yisrael upon entering Eretz Yisrael. We will study the map of Israel and its borders.

In Dinim the students finished working on their Elul/Rosh Hashana packets and will be bringing them home for Rosh Hashana. The students also received a guideline to help them study for the test which will be next week Thursday ( 9/20). Next week we will get a new packet for Dinim focusing on the next holidays of Yom Kippur and Succot.

In Parasha your student learned about this week’s parasha and would love to share it with you. Please encourage them to. Please return signed so I know they did.

Wishing you a very happy and healthy New Year!

Shana Tova U’metuka!

Rabbi Elbaz
