We had a very busy week in Kita Vav. In Chumash: we continued our study of psukim 10-19 in perek aleph in Sefer Shmot, parshat Shmot. We learned new words such as:הבה נתחכמה , תקראנה,שרי מיסים,יענו, פרך,וימררו, מילדת
We also continued to work on some Rashi's and completed psukim 11-13.
In Parsha: We learned about a main idea in the parsha. I hope your student shared this with you and that you sign and return the parsha page with your child on Tuesday. Todah!
We also had another beautiful Oneg Shabbat on Friday, where we learned some more new songs, sang Shabbat songs, practiced Kiddush, and got a treat in honor of the approaching Shabbat.
In Navi: We completed our study of perek aleph in Sefer Shmuel. We learned about many different people and places mentioned in the perek, and of course, of the birth of Shmuel. We also learned many new Navi words:מנה, ויזבח, וישתחוו, עקרה, שכורה, נדר, נזיר
In Mishna: We are working on a project on the topic of the Men of the Great Assembly and the period of the Tanaim.
Hope you are enjoying the long weekend,
