Fourth grade update for week of Dec 7

B”H

                                 Rabbi Elbaz’s Fourth Grade Update/ Dec. 7th

In Chumash: The students were tested on perek 19 with emphasis on Chumash vocabulary, roots, comprehension and the Biblical story. We continue working on our 12 tribes project from clay.

In Navi: the students were tested on prakim 1 and 2 in Sefer Yehoshua. They completed a project on the Jewish people’s entrance to Eretz Yisrael and the results are amazing!

In Dinim: Chanuka: we will continue learning about the laws of Chanuka this coming week and also enjoy different activities such as a “Maccabia” ( Color War) with the Yevanim against the Yehudim. The students will have their Chanuka test after Chanuka.

In Parsha: the students learned about this week’s parsha and brought home their parsha sheet which should be signed so I know they shared the D’var Torah with you.

Please remember that our Chanuka program is this Wed beginning at 9:30 sharp.

A letter from Mrs. Willis went home about the dress rehearsals and what your child should wear under his/her costume.

Wishing you all a very Happy Chanuka!

Shavua Tov and Chag Chanuka Sameach!

Rabbi Elbaz
