B"H
Shalom Sixth Grade Parents,
We had a very busy week in Kita Vav. In Halacha ( laws) we completed the laws of Pesach and on Monday we will start learning from the Haggada companion that I prepared for the students. We will have our dinim test on Pesach this coming Thursday. The students will be bringing home their new Haggada companions this Thursday. I hope they will use them to enhance your seders. On Friday we will have our own "model" seder filled with fun activities.
In Chumash we are near completing Parshat VaEra. We have been learning different Rashi's and completed makat Arov ( wild animals ) this week. The students will have a quiz on Rashi vocabulary this week Wed.
In Mishna: the students were tested on perek aleph in Masechet Avot. After Pesach we will begin a new perek from Masechet Brachot.
In Navi: We completed perek 12 and learned about the war of Shaul and Amon. We will continue with the wars of King Shaul and his son Yonatan in perek 13 in Sefer Shmuel.
In Parsha: please return the D'var Torah signed if your child shared it with you.
Thank you and wishing you a very happy and Kosher Pesach!
Rabbi Elbaz
