B"H
Shalom U'vracha Fourth Grade Parents,
We had a busy week in Kita Daled. In Chumash we completed perek 30 and will begin the last perek in Parshat Vayeitzei this week. The students had a vocabulary quiz and deepened their comprehension of the Biblical text. On Thursday before Pesach break we will have a test on chapters 30 and 31. This week's homework will focus on psukim from Rashi.
In Navi we completed perek vav (6) about the conquest of Yericho and will continue with the conquest of Ai and the sin of Achan who took from the spoils of war. The students are working on a computer project about Yericho and in class on a comics project.
In Halacha ( laws) we began our study of the laws of Pesach. The student got a Pesach packet I prepared for them including a special Haggada "companion" that we will learn and later they can use to enrich your seders.
I returned the Purim tests and I hope your child shared his/her achievements with you. We will have a test on Pesach before the break, tba.
Parsha: Please sign your child's parsha sheet if it was shared with you and return to me.
Thank you and Shavua Tov!
Rabbi Elbaz
