B"H
Shalom Fourth Grade Parents,
We had a busy week in Kita Daled. In Halacha (laws) we completed our Pesach packet and on Monday the students will get review work for their homework on Pesach. We will also begin our Haggadah companions which I prepared for them. On Thursday the students will have their Pesach test. This Friday we will have a "model" seder which will be full of activities about Pesach. On Thursday your child will bring his/her Haggadah companion home to be used at your seders. I hope they will help to enrich the beautiful experience of Pesach.
In Chumash: We began perek 31 psukim 1-8 and are learning about Yaakov continuing to plan his journey to Eretz Canaan. The students learned Rashi on psukim 3 and 4 and this week we will continue to work on psukim 8-13 with emphasis on accuracy of reading from Rashi and expanding our Chumash vocabulary.
In Navi: we are still working on our Yericho project and on comics for Sefer Yehoshua. This week we will continue learning about Bnei Yisrael's conquest of Ay and the punishment for taking from the spoils of war.
Please return the parsha sheet signed if your child shared this week's D'var Torah with you.
I want to wish you all a very happy and Kosher Pesach!
Rabbi Elbaz
