fourth grade update for May 5th

B”H

Rabbi Elbaz’s Fourth Grade Judaic Update/ May 5th

I hope you all enjoyed viewing your children’s projects at our Achievement Fair. In Navi they had their Book of Yehoshua Comics and their Yericho projects on display. In Chumash they had their Chumshilonim for the words they have learned in the parshiot we have studied. And , of course, their Parsha books filled with all  the different Divrei Torah they have shared with you throughout the year. They really did such amazing work and I am very proud of them!

In Chumash we will be completing Parshat Vayeitsei this week by continuing to sharpen our reading and comprehension skills , as well as learning some Rashi’s on these last psukim of this Parsha. The students are also busy working on their Siyum. We then move on to Parshat VaYishlach.

In Navi we are working on perek 9 and learning about the Givonim. In Halacha we will complete our study of the laws of Shavuot and the students will have their test on this packet, which includes the laws of the Omer and Lag B’Omer this coming Friday. The students will get review sheets for the test.

Shavua Tov!

Rabbi Elbaz
