Rabbi Elbaz’s
Sixth Grade Update/ week of Dec 7
In Chumash:
The students continue to work beautifully reading accurately from the text,
expanding their Chumash vocabulary and comprehension of the psukim through
identifying shorashim ( roots/word families). Pretty soon we will be completing
Parshat Shmot and have our siyum.
In Navi: We
are near completion of perek vav (6) in Sefer Shmuel Aleph. The Aron Brit is on
its way back to Eretz Yisrael.
In Dinim:
the students completed our Chanuka Dinim packet and were tested. During the
days of Chanuka (this week) we will have different hands on activities such as
a mini Maccabia and have our own Yevanim compete against our own Yehudim.
In Parsha
the students learned about the week’s parsha and brought home their Dvar
Torahs. Please sign so I know they shared it with you.
Reminder
that this Thursday is the sixth grade play: Hannuka Money at 10 am.
